Position Summary:
WCR, Incorporated is seeking an Industrial Service Technician to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery (Plate Heat Exchangers)
- Troubleshoot and repair leaking heat exchanger equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- On call for after hour service and holiday hours can be required
- Shop work to include, pressure washing, dye testing, and gasketing plates
- Willingness to travel (25%)
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of previous experience as a Service Technician or other related fields
- Ability to travel to various work sites in our area of responsibility at any time (WA, OR, ID, MT, BC, AB)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- HVAC, pump, valve, and boiler repair experience a plus
- Professional and punctual a must
- Strong Communication skills with all levels of an organization
- Valid drivers license
Education and/or Experience
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
