Onsite Service Technician — Position Opening

Position Summary:

WCR, Incorporated is seeking an Industrial Service Technician to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery (Plate Heat Exchangers)
• Troubleshoot and repair leaking heat exchanger equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• On call for after hour service and holiday hours can be required
• Shop work to include, pressure washing, dye testing, and gasketing plates
• Willingness to travel (25%)

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of previous experience as a Service Technician or other related fields
• Ability to travel to various work sites in our area of responsibility at any time (WA, OR, ID, MT, BC, AB)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• HVAC, pump, valve, and boiler repair experience a plus
• Professional and punctual a must
• Strong Communication skills with all levels of an organization
• Valid drivers license

Education and/or Experience

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
