Job Description:
We are seeking a Gasket Room Technician to join our team! You will prepare heat exchanger plates for installation at our customer facilities. The position is for Day Shift, 5AM to 1:30PM.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and gasket plates for installation
- Participate in all repair, maintenance and equipment test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems & determine proper solutions
- Use a forklift to move product through the shop
- Document processes
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Follow all company filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with service team & share information across organization
- Build positive relationships with shop team
Qualifications:
- Adhere to all Safety Policies & Procedures
- Proven technical experience
- Ability to acquire a forklift certification after 90 days of hire
- Timeliness in all aspects of position
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment
- English literacy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Familiarity with power tools
- Attention to detail
