Gasket Room Technician — Position Opening

Job Description:
We are seeking a Gasket Room Technician to join our team! You will prepare heat exchanger plates for installation at our customer facilities. The position is for Day Shift, 5AM to 1:30PM.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and gasket plates for installation
• Participate in all repair, maintenance and equipment test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems & determine proper solutions
• Use a forklift to move product through the shop
• Document processes
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Follow all company filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with service team & share information across organization
• Build positive relationships with shop team

Qualifications:

• Adhere to all Safety Policies & Procedures
• Proven technical experience
• Ability to acquire a forklift certification after 90 days of hire
• Timeliness in all aspects of position
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment
• English literacy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Familiarity with power tools
• Attention to detail
