Design Engineer — Position Opening

Duties: Tool and die design for metal stamping and rubber compression molding. Reduce tooling cost and improve production efficiency through innovative tooling design

Position Summary:

• Execute quotes in a timely manner and transacts customer purchase orders
• Support new equipment application engineering team
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities:

Tool and die design for metal stamping and rubber compression molding. Reduce tooling cost and improve production efficiency through innovative tooling design. Work closely with and support sales staff, manufacturing, and maintenance.

Direct Report: Engineering Manager

Department: Engineering

Shift: 1st (8am-5pm)

Required skills:

• BSME
• AutoCAD
• SOLIDWORKS
• CAM Software Experience (SmartCAM, CAMWorks, etc.)
• G Code Knowledge
• CMM Experience

Preferred skills:

• FEA Experience
• Heat Exchanger/Pressure Vessel ASME Code
• Machining/Machine Shop Experience

Must be willing to travel between WCH and Fairborn as needed.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s preferred
• 2 years experience
