A customer request is made in advance of a planned plate pack change-out.
Within two weeks, the customer must return their used plates to the nearest WCR Service Center. Reconditioned and regasketed plates are then shipped to the customer on the scheduled date. We don’t charge any fees for this service, except in the event of one of the following circumstances:
- The customer fails to return the used plates.
- The returned plates are of a different material than those ordered by the customer.
- The returned plates fail a dye penetrant test OR fail a visual inspection for excessive wear or pitting.
For these occurrences, the customer will be notfied of the situation, we will work with the customer to develop the most economical solution prior to any additional charges.
The exchange program is available for certain plate types and materials.
